Xi Gui Gold Leaf 2019 Sheng Pu'erh

Xi Gui is a sweet, little raw pu'erh from the Lincang prefecture of Yunnan, China. I saw little, but the brick that broke down was 1000g! It was massive! Funnily enough, the leaves used for sheng pu'erh are classified as Lincang Large Leaf, so maybe it's only right that the brick was just as large as the leaf. 

While I did break down this brick into 50g bags for everyone to enjoy, the fragrance is still there sealed & ready for your enjoyment. The fragrance is sweet & sharp, much like the taste which is similar to most young sheng pu'erhs; bright, astringent, & sweet.
